(2) Tight control of blood sugar in Type 2 diabetes DOES reduce (only) microvascular complications

(3) Most Type 2 diabetics will require insulin for good control

(4) Tight control of blood pressure in Type 2 diabetes significantly improves diabetes-related survival, cardiovascular, and microvascular complications

Perhaps 'tis more important to control blood pressure (<130/80) than to control blood sugar in Type 2 diabetes
